Temporary Practice Closure

We are disappointed to announce that GKG Vets in Thatcham will temporarily close on 1st November 2023 and reopen on a date to be confirmed.

However, the team at GKG Vets in Newbury would love to welcome you and your pet(s) in the interim. You can expect the same level of expertise and support. They will have full access to our clinical records to ensure continuity of care, and you will continue to receive reminders for appointments and other regular communications as per usual.

If you have a future appointment booked at GKG Vets Thatcham, a team member will be contacting you shortly to rebook this for you.

Staying with GKG Vets means:

• Any medical history will be automatically available
• Online payment facility will continue
• Out of hours care will be at Vets Now based at Castle Vets in Reading.

Third-party providers will have access to your data to ensure we continue to provide veterinary care. To understand more about how we process your data please see our privacy notice on our website. Our systems and services  will be available at the Newbury branch of GKG Vets, meaning you can rest assured there will be no disruption to your pet’s care.
